VISION in Cabo Frio’s public lighting modernization
A new service request app goes live as the city moves toward some 38,000 modernized light points.
The modernization of Cabo Frio’s public lighting advances with the rollout of a new app for filing and tracking maintenance requests. The initiative is part of the city’s lighting network modernization, in which VISION takes part in delivering the services.
Through the app, residents can report issues such as luminaires that are out, flickering or faulty, using either the address or the pole’s own identification. Requests are integrated into the service system and routed to the responsible crews, and can also be followed through to completion.
The project covers the modernization of approximately 38,000 public lighting points in Cabo Frio, including replacing conventional luminaires with LED technology, changing pole brackets and installing identification plates on the poles.
Beyond contributing to more efficient, modern lighting, adopting new management and service technologies allows for greater control of demand and faster identification of the points that need maintenance.
VISION continues to contribute to the modernization of Cabo Frio’s public lighting infrastructure, combining technology, operational efficiency and better services for residents.
